“Davra” — Traditional Uzbek Dance at Miss Polo Universe 2026

As part of the international Miss Polo Universe 2026 competition in Dubai, the representative of Uzbekistan presented her national culture through a performance of the traditional Uzbek dance “Davra.”

Uzbek dance is distinguished by its expressive movements, characteristic hand gestures, dynamic rhythm, and strong attention to the stage image. The costume is an important part of this image, complementing the movement and helping convey its character.

For the contestant’s performance, the stage costume was designed and created at BOROVSKIH Atelier. Its concept combines a contemporary interpretation of Uzbek decorative motifs, expressive patterns, and a striking contrast of black with vibrant colors.

Our goal was to create an image that would highlight the connection with Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage while looking natural and distinctive on an international stage.
