BOROVSKIH Couture at Miss Polo Universe 2026: A Wardrobe Built for the World Stage

This September in Dubai, BOROVSKIH Couture took part in Miss Polo Universe 2026, presenting an exclusive selection of designer creations by Lyubov Borovskih. For the contestant representing Uzbekistan, our atelier created the complete wardrobe for her journey through the competition โ a meeting point of individual design, craftsmanship and contemporary elegance.

A Complete Wardrobe, Designed Around One Woman
Pageant dressing is never a single dress. It is a sequence of moments โ appearances, interviews, evening events โ and each one asks something different of a silhouette. For the contestant from Uzbekistan, we approached the wardrobe as one continuous story: pieces that share a design language while answering the specific demands of every stage she stepped onto. That meant working from the individual outward. Proportion, movement, the way fabric behaves under stage light โ all of it shaped the design before a single seam was sewn. The result is a wardrobe that reads as a whole, yet never repeats itself.

Craftsmanship You Can See From the Last Row
On a stage, detail is not decoration โ it is structure. Couture-level finishing is what allows a garment to hold its line when a woman is walking, turning and being photographed from every angle. In our atelier, that means hand-finished edges, considered internal construction and fabrics chosen for how they move rather than how they photograph alone. The same standard applies whether we are building a competition wardrobe or altering a single beloved piece for a client in Dubai. Craft is not reserved for the spotlight; it is simply more visible there.

The Collection Presentation
The event also featured a fashion presentation of the BOROVSKIH Couture collection, bringing the atelier's design language to an international audience in Dubai. Seeing the pieces in motion โ on a runway, in front of a live audience โ is the truest test of any couture garment, and the clearest expression of what we do. For us, participation in Miss Polo Universe 2026 is both an honour and a continuation of a simple idea: that clothing made for one person, with real attention and real skill, carries a presence that ready-to-wear cannot replicate.
We are grateful to have dressed the contestant representing Uzbekistan and to have shared the BOROVSKIH Couture collection with the Miss Polo Universe 2026 audience in Dubai. If you are preparing for a stage, an event or a moment that matters, our atelier is here to design it with you โ piece by piece, detail by detail.
