Bustier size and front-panel alteration
This private alteration focused on two things at once: fit and character. The bustier was adjusted by one size to sit more comfortably on the body, then refreshed with a floral front panel that gave the piece a more individual, expressive look.
The new panel was chosen to work with the client’s accessories and bring more life to the garment without overwhelming its original structure. Careful shaping around the bodice kept the bustier supportive, balanced and easy to wear.
A well-executed alteration should not feel like a repair. It should feel like the garment has finally become yours.
